Rex Burgdorfer was the keynote speaker for Central Penn Business Journal’s Healthcare Symposium 2015, which was held in Harrisburg, PA. Rex’s keynote covered current trends in hospital mergers and acquisitions, including the reasons why health systems are merging and how new partnership models are changing the hospital industry’s structure.
In addition to covering hospital M&A, the symposium also addressed issues related to population health and future trends in health plans. The conference gathered health system leadership from throughout central Pennsylvania.
